The north Amidon corridor is home to the revitalized Twin Lakes and New Leaf shopping areas, as well as many tree-lined neighborhoods. Ruggles & Bohm worked with the City of Wichita and neighborhoods to upgrade the corridor to modern standards. Work included reconstruction of intersections at 21st, 25th and 29th Streets, new traffic signals at 4 intersections, relocation of existing utilities, new storm water system, and a new, continuous left turn lane throughout the entire 1.4-mile corridor.
