YOUR TEAM FORGovernment Services

Government Services

Look around you. What do you see? Roads, buildings, parks, your kids’ school – each an essential part of the community. Public facilities are investments by a community’s residents in themselves. They affect quality of life and, if done right, have long term positive implications.

Our designers understand this. We approach public facility projects no differently than if we were spending our own money, finding ways to complete a project more efficiently through sound solutions that will be long-lived while having a tangible impact. For over 20 years, our clients in the public sector have entrusted us with their projects, from new infrastructure to new or expanded facilities. Our experience in surveying, civil engineering, land planning and landscape architecture affords us the opportunity to provide a complete site package, including initial concepts and site studies, public involvement, site design, utility coordination, and construction documents. But our tasks don’t end when the design is complete. Our construction services staff offers construction staking and inspection so we can truly look out for your project from start to finish.

Beyond our local communities, Ruggles & Bohm offers our state and federal partners civil engineeringland surveying and landscape architecture services, transferring our expertise in these areas from the private sector to the public sector. Our staff has experience in a variety of delivery methods and contract vehicles, including design/build and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ), and project scheduling. We are prequalified for Federal projects with NAICS codes of 541320 (Landscape Architecture), 541330 (Engineering), and 541370 (Surveying), as well as nearly a dozen KDOT project types.
